The New Space Era is upon us, and the space industry is undergoing a major paradigm shift. Now, there is a greater emphasis on innovation driven by the private sector, and universities must also adapt to meet the evolving demands of the space industry. The International Space Cooperation Promotion Council was founded to enhance Korea’s competitiveness in space technology by serving as a hub for industry-academia-research cooperation in East Asia, bringing together advanced technologies and research capabilities from around the world. The Council also aims to pave the way for novel space missions by promoting multidisciplinary collaboration.
Moreover, the Council will contribute to the sustainable growth of the space sector by strategically securing core space technologies, leading cutting-edge space trends, and pioneering new space markets.
